v0.21.2 : Update notes (2026/10/25)
Thank you for using Blaze!
v0.21.2 adds Sonnet 5.5 and Haiku 5.5 and lets long-running tasks continue to the end without stopping midway. It also fixes issues when reverting to an earlier version in Change Management and addresses known vulnerabilities.
1. Sonnet 5.5 and Haiku 5.5 are now available
You can now choose Sonnet 5.5 and Haiku 5.5 from the model selector.
We also fixed an issue where models not hosted domestically appeared in the model selector even when “Use domestically hosted models only” was enabled.
See Model & environment settings.
2. Long-running tasks now continue without stopping
Previously, Blaze stopped working once a task exceeded a limit on the number of steps or amount of time. We removed these limits so that large tasks can run to completion.
- If Blaze ends up repeating the same operation, it no longer stops. It tries a different approach and continues.
- When a single Blaze response runs for a long time, Blaze now pauses it and automatically resumes from where it left off.
- When a Blaze response stops midway, for example because the connection drops, Blaze now automatically retries.
- Your computer no longer goes to sleep from inactivity while Blaze is running.
- Fixed Blaze being unable to run commands after you stopped Blaze on Windows.
- Reduced memory usage when running commands with large output.
3. Fixed issues when reverting to an earlier version in Change Management
Fixed reverting a change that added a sharing rule deleting the object itself from the Salesforce org. Blaze now deletes only the sharing rules that were added.
- Fixed reverting a change that added files to a component deleting the entire component, not just the added files.
- Salesforce does not allow translations to be deleted through the API. When reverting a change that added translations, Blaze no longer deletes them and instead shows how to handle them manually.
- Pre-validation now uses the content of the version you are reverting to.
- Fixed unselected content being reverted or shown in validation results when reverting only part of a change.
- When reverting fails, Blaze now shows what needs to be handled manually.
- Fixed some metadata, such as custom buttons and links, DataWeave, OmniStudio, and Experience Cloud sites, not being recognized correctly.
- When there are many validation errors, you can now scroll within the dialog to review all of them.
See Revert to an earlier version.
4. Other improvements and bug fixes
- Fixed audit log problems stopping message sending or audit log export. If some records cannot be read, all other records are still exported.
- Fixed Blaze displaying and saving files from the selected org instead of the conversation’s org while you viewed a conversation for a different org.
- Fixed minor bugs in Requirement Mode.
- Fixed browser test recording reports larger than 5 MB failing to open. When you share a report, its images are now compressed to reduce the file size.
- Updated bundled software to address known vulnerabilities.
