Thank you for using Blaze!

1. You can now use Blaze without connecting to a Salesforce org

Until now, opening /org only let you pick from your connected orgs or connect a new one. If you just wanted to chat with Blaze or get help with something unrelated to a specific org, you still had to pick one to get going smoothly.

Starting with this release, the /org list has a new “No Salesforce org (standalone)” option. Choosing it lets Blaze start up without connecting to any org, and it remembers that choice — so it won’t try to auto-connect to an org the next time you launch it either.

Here are a few situations where this comes in handy:

• Blaze itself runs into an error, and you want it to read its own CLI source code to help track down the cause and fix it
• You have a Salesforce usage or spec question and want to ask Blaze the way you’d ask support

Pick this whenever you want to use Blaze for something that has nothing to do with Salesforce!
