1. Search past conversations while you work
- Added tools that let the agent search and read past conversations, making it easier to resume an earlier conversation from a new one.
- You can search past conversations by keyword in the title or body, with matching snippets shown alongside the results.
- The current conversation is excluded from search results, so your own messages won’t be mistaken for a past conversation.
2. Fable 5 is now available as a model option
- Fable 5 is now available in Blaze’s model selector.
- To use it, an admin must first enable it from “Preferences” in the account dashboard by turning on access to models excluded from the zero data retention policy (such as Fable 5).
- Enabling this requires consent to data sharing with Anthropic, and the change is recorded in the audit log.
3. Aligned Windows “close” and “minimize” behavior
- The close (×) button now quits the app, and minimizing keeps Blaze running in the tray, for consistent behavior.
- Background mode descriptions have also been updated to match the actual behavior on Windows and Mac.
4. Improved reliability of the “Restore” process in version control
- Fixed an issue where the range shown on screen and the range actually restored could differ.
- Fixed an issue where “Restore” could fail due to unmanaged files.
5. Other improvements
- Added automatic recovery when a response stalls.
- Simplified the deploy approval button label from “Execute deploy” to “Execute”.
- Reduced the app’s distribution size.
