Where data is stored
On your computer
- Conversation history: Stored only on your computer and not on Igness servers. It is protected by your computer’s sign-in and disk encryption (FileVault on macOS, BitLocker on Windows).
- Sign-in information: Your Blaze sign-in and external app sign-ins are stored using OS encryption.
- Salesforce authentication: Managed on your computer by Salesforce CLI. Your Salesforce access token is never sent to Igness servers.
- In-app browser: Cookies and browsing history are stored on your computer and are not sent outside it.
On Igness servers
- Account information: Used for sign-in, contract and device management.
- Usage: Used to calculate charges and display usage. It does not include conversation content.
- Content you share: Skills and prompts you share to the Library are stored on the server only when you share them.
- Organization audit log: Records of organization setting changes and member actions.
Igness servers do not store conversation content.
AI processing
Conversation content is sent through Igness servers to an AI service to generate responses.
- Blaze uses only AI services that do not use submitted data for training.
- Igness does not use your Salesforce data or conversation content to train AI models.
Error reports
Error details are sent to Sentry, an error monitoring service, only if you have agreed to send error information to Igness. Before sending, your computer user name, Salesforce user name, tokens and similar values are masked. You can change this choice at any time in Settings.
Deleting data
- Conversations: Delete them from your computer with Delete a thread. Archiving is not deletion.
- In-app browser: Use “Clear browsing data” in the browser menu to delete cookies, cache and browsing history.
- External apps: Disconnecting an app under Connecting External Apps also deletes its stored sign-in information.
- Shared content: Content shared to the Library can be deleted from the Library.
- Your account and data on Igness servers: Contact hello@igness.ai to request deletion.
Requests to review, correct, delete or stop use of personal information held by Igness follow the procedures in the Privacy Policy.
