Sharing Prompts and Skills Within Your Organization
1. What is it?
A way to let the whole organization reuse a Skill or custom prompt that one person created. Register it in the shared Library, and any member can pull it into their own Blaze with one click.
- Turn one person’s useful Skill or prompt into a team-wide asset
- Prevent knowledge from staying siloed with a single person
2. Two screens are involved
The Library feature spans the Blaze desktop app and the web account management screen.
| What you want to do | Where | See |
|---|---|---|
| Share (upload) a Skill or prompt to the library | Blaze app | Sharing and Adding from the Library |
| Browse, review, and organize the library (archive, delete) | Web account management screen | Managing the Library |
| Add (download) something a teammate shared to your Blaze | Web account management screen → Blaze app | Managing the Library |
3. The overall flow
- Share it: from the Blaze app’s Settings (the Skills tab, or Custom Prompt), click “Share to library”
- Review it: what was shared appears in the “Library” tab of the account management screen
- Add it: other members click “Add to Blaze” from the “Library” tab, which launches the Blaze app and walks through a confirmation screen
When something is no longer needed, organize it from the account management screen by archiving (reversible) or deleting permanently (cannot be undone).
4. FAQ
Q. Which screen do I use to share vs. add?
Sharing (uploading) happens in the Blaze app’s Settings. Browsing, adding, and deleting all happen on the web account management screen. Check the table above if you’re not sure.
Q. Can I share both Skills and custom prompts?
Yes, both can be shared. A custom prompt can be shared from either scope — “all Salesforce orgs” or “per org”.
Q. How do I delete something I shared?
You can’t do it from the Blaze app. Use the “Library” tab on the web account management screen to archive it or delete it permanently.
