Blaze Zoom integration and data handling

This page supplements the Igness Privacy Policy with details about data access, use, AI processing, storage and deletion for Blaze’s Zoom integration.

For setup and usage steps, see Connecting Zoom.

Before connecting

On Zoom’s authorization screen, check the account and requested permissions, then choose whether to allow access.

Blaze operates within the connected account’s Zoom permissions. Connecting does not grant the account access to data it could not otherwise access.

Data and permissions

Blaze uses Zoom’s official MCP server to carry out the work you request and return the results in your conversation. Blaze requests these scopes and handles this data:

Blaze uses these scopes only as needed for the work you request in a conversation.

AI processing and sharing

Content and operation results obtained from Zoom become part of the Blaze conversation used for AI responses and decisions about subsequent actions. The necessary conversation content is sent through Igness servers to the AI service in use.

Blaze only uses AI services that do not use the data sent to them for AI training. Data obtained from Zoom is not used to train, evaluate or improve AI or machine learning models.

Data obtained from Zoom is used only to provide the Blaze features shown to the user. It is not sold or used for advertising. Data obtained from Zoom is not shared with third parties other than the AI services above.

Data storage

  • Connection credentials: Credentials that keep the Zoom integration connected are stored on your device using the operating system’s encryption. Credentials are issued and refreshed through Igness servers but are not stored there.
  • Conversation history: Content obtained from Zoom, operation results and responses that use them remain in the conversation history on your device until you delete them.
  • Files: Large operation results may be saved as separate files on your device. Files created, downloaded or exported during use may also remain separately from conversation history.
  • Igness servers: Content obtained from Zoom is not stored on Igness servers.

Disconnecting and deleting data

  1. Remove the connection in Blaze: In Settings → Connections, open the ”…” menu for Zoom and click Disconnect. This deletes the credentials on your device.
  2. Revoke access in Zoom: Sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace, open Manage → Added Apps, and click Remove for Blaze. Removing the connection in Blaze does not revoke the permission in Zoom.
  3. Delete conversation history: Delete conversations that contain Zoom data using Delete a thread. Archiving is not deletion. Separately saved files and exports must be reviewed and deleted individually.
  4. Check data in Zoom: Removing the connection or conversations does not undo meetings or documents that were created, changed or deleted. Make any needed changes in Zoom.

Requests to review, correct, delete or stop use of personal information held by Igness follow the procedures in the Privacy Policy. Contact hello@igness.ai with questions or requests.
